Any reference to the FSLN means the Sandinista National Liberation Front (Sandinista Party) who overthrew the Somoza dictatorship in 1979 and became the governing party from 1979 to 1990.

This Nicaraguan CD is a recording sung by Carlos Mejia Godoy and choir. Carlos Godoy also wrote the mass.  The words are translated by Dinah Livingstone. The Mass expresses the commitment of Nicaraguan Christians to the principles of the Sandinista Revolution. A powerful example of Liberation Theology.
