How to Join NSCAG
This is your opportunity to support the people of Nicaragua and the
activities of NSCAG. You may be a trade unionist who wants to support a
sister union. You may be aware of Nicaragua’s revolutionary history and wish to
learn more. You may want to do some
solidarity shopping or take part in a study tour to Nicaragua. Or you may want to help
what is now the second poorest country in Latin America and the Caribbean.
NB. You will automatically also become a member of Nicaragua
Solidarity Campaign which now has charitable status.
If you become a member you will receive:
- The magazine Central America Report twice a year.
 This is illustrated with features about El Salvador, Guatemala,
Nicaragua and other countries in the region, and news of the
activities of various UK-based organisations working around Central
America.
- News updates twice a year together with details of
NSCAG and NSC events and activities.
- A full colour sales leaflet and list of books for
sale.
- Free special reports, for example on Nicaragua and
Fair Trade.
- Details of our study tours and delegations to
Nicaragua
- Notification of fundraising events such as fiestas and sponsored
bike rides.
- Contact details for your nearest twinned town,
local group or Wales NSC, and news of some of their activities.
- A higher chance of working at festivals such as
Reading and Glastonbury in exchange for free entry and other perks.
- The opportunity to subscribe to the fortnightly emailed digest
of news from Nicaragua, Nicaragua Network Hotline.
Other ways to support NSCAG:

publicise our
campaigns, produce materials or run events.
* Request a speaker for one of your meetings.
* Put forward resolutions on Nicaragua at your union conference.
* Help us organise a fringe meeting at conference.
* Write an article for your union newsletter or magazine.
* Ask about getting involved in our trade union working group.
* Contribute other ideas. Let us know!
